Military Heroes

Our heroes who fought in World War 2 gave up so much to secure our freedom and the freedom of the world.  Their enemy was a clear and evil force that had to be defeated. They gave up their plans only to come back to a life that wasn’t as they had expected.  But they were victorious heroes in everyone’s mind.  The young men and women in today’s military make similar sacrifices but they face a far different enemy.  They are brave heroes who go off to third-world countries to battle invisible enemies.  How would you compare today’s heroes with those in World War 2?
